This week has been an active one for Windows 10 Mobile, with plenty of app news – positive and negative – as well as new builds and more.
PayPal, are you in or out? Or are you still shaking it all about?
It seems that PayPal still can’t make its mind up on whether it wants to be on the Windows 10 Mobile platform or not. Originally, PayPal updated its Windows Phone app stating that a new app is on the way, then subsequently released another update which removed the message, and apologised for the app no longer being available. As a reader politely put it:
Starbucks will be here in just a few weeks
Coffee lovers won’t have to wait much longer for the debut of Starbucks on Windows 10 Mobile. The company has announced its app is going through final testing and Windows Store Certification and should be landing on your Windows 10 Mobile device in a matter of weeks.
NuAns NEO Windows 10 Mobile device heads to Kickstarter
The much-anticipated NuAns NEO has arrived on Kickstarter. Sporting Windows 10 Mobile and customisable TWOTONE covers, the phone brings uniqueness to the sometimes stagnant arena of devices running Windows 10 Mobile.
Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile arriving August 2nd
The Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile will be releasing on the same day as its PC counterpart, August 2nd, 2016. It will be a staged rollout, meaning not everyone will receive the update at the same time.
Facebook’s Messenger receives a major update

Football Addicts brings Forza Football as a Universal Windows app
Forza Football is already a highly popular app on Android, but now the developers behind the app, Football Addicts, have brought it to Windows 10 using the Universal Windows Platform.
Short.y brings quick URL shortening to Windows 10 devices
Shortening a URL has now become almost effortless, thanks to Short.y. The Universal Windows app offers automatic ‘copy-to-clipboard’ functionality, as well as sharing links to-and-from other apps.
