This past week was dominated by images of the upcoming Lumia 550, 950, and 950XL, three new Windows 10 Mobile devices expected to be announced by Microsoft this Tuesday, October 6th, in a private press event in New York City. In fact, the hype has been so big that the 950 and 950XL briefly appeared on the online Microsoft Store, before quickly being taken down.

We’re not expecting a new Windows 10 Mobile build until after the event on the 6th, as indicated by Windows Insider boss Gabe Aul. In fact, Windows 10 Mobile build 10559 is currently in the internal fast ring and could be a candidate for release after Tuesday’s event.
What appears to be actual photos of the Lumia 950 leaked onto the web, showcasing the device in all its glory. You can check that out here.
Amazon has quite a few accessories listed for the Lumia 950 and 950XL. First off, there is an OTG cable that connects USB Type-C to USB Type A. The listing details this cable can be used to connect peripheral accessories, like a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, etc., to the new Lumia devices. Notable updates this week included the Xbox Beta app, Opera Mini which received visual changes, and Groove Music, which received genre filtering and more.
