One of the newest Windows 10 Mobile devices, the HP Elite X3, is now a step closer to release. According to Windows Central, the device has reportedly passed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certification, and may be launched soon.
In case you missed the specs on the device, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (2.15 GHz and 4 cores). It also sports a 5.96-inch (2560×1440) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and anti-reflective coating. 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage with 1 microSD (expandable up to 2TB) is also included. Camera wise, the device features a 16MP f/2.0 FHD rear-facing camera and 8MP FHD front facing camera and Iris camera. The Audio speaker, meanwhile, is by Bang & Olufsen.
Earlier this month, HP highlighted several areas of the device in new videos focusing on how well the Elite X3 helps business users be more productive. It was also rumored that HP would be developing its own branded apps for the Windows 10 mobile device, making the device one of the first non-Microsoft smartphones to push the envelope in terms of functionality.
