The Alcatel Idol 4S, a new Windows 10 Mobile phone with premium specs is expected to start selling in the US through T-Mobile on November 10. Until now, not much was known about the device except that it’s using the same hardware as the Idol 4 Pro Android phone. Additionally, we previously reported that T-Mobile will bundle some exclusive VR experiences on the handset which packaging can be turned into a VR headset.
Windows Central managed to get their hands on a unit today and shared more interesting facts about the handset: according to the report, the Idol 4S supports two classic Lumia features, double-tap to wake as well as “glove mode,” both of them being quite self-explanatory.
Please note that while the Device Information page only mentions 3.5 GB of RAM, the Idol 4 S does feature 4 GB of RAM, just like the HP Elite x3. Both handsets also share a Snapdragon 820 processor and 64GB of storage, though the Idol 4S will be much more affordable with an announced price of $469.99.
