Microsoft’s Deals Hub app is a handy way for Windows 10 users to get news of discounts and promotions in the Windows Store. For this week, the app presents some interesting selections in the Red Stripe Deals section.
Red Stripe Deals have been a staple in the Windows Store since the Windows Phone era, with weekly deals on apps and games often at 50% discounts or more. This week, it’s mostly games that are getting the spotlight, along with one app.
First up is Doodle God, an award-winning puzzle game that’s on sale for $.99 on Windows 10 devices (normally $1.99).
Next up is Grim Legends (Full), a smartphone fantasy game that’s currently on sale for $2.99.
Chimpact is a platformer set in luscious environments that is on sale for $2.49 on Windows 10 devices (down from a more significant $4.99).
Next we have Baseball Riot, a platformer based on America’s favorite pastime that’s on sale on Windows 10 for $1.49 (down from $2.99).
Finally, we have LCARS Interface, the app on the list that’s probably the most interesting and well-made of its kind on the app store. The name “LCARS” should be instantly familiar to fans of the legendary sci-fi series, Star Trek, as the OS onboard the space explorers’ spaceship.
Apart from the usual audio/visual authenticity, the app actually incorporate several practical and useful functionalities, including a clock, a Star-Trek inspired game, world weather, file manager, media player, and much more.
