In a press conference in New Delhi today, Western Digital showcased its portfolio of Solid-State Drives (SSDs) for consumers in India and announced the availability of its new high-performance WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD aimed at PC gamers.
Built on Western Digital’s own 3D NAND technology the WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD houses up to 2TB capacity on a single-sided M.2 form factor and is also available with an integrated heatsink to help maintain speed and optimum temperature.
It’s built to deliver the bandwidth and address the multi-tasking demands of gamers, video editors, and other users that need top-level transfer speeds for large file sizes leading to the improved overall responsiveness of the system.
The latest SSD portfolio from Western Digital provides consumers with super-fast and performance-oriented storage solutions across price segments and would help enhance SSD adoption in India.
According to Khalid Wani, Director– Channel Sales India, Western Digital, there’s a gradual shift towards SSDs among consumers with a rising demand for high-end computing systems and the company’s SSD product portfolio spread across categories will cater to every consumer segment, whether it is the high-end gamer or even the first time PC buyer.
