This Week on Xbox – Star Wars beta, Tomb Raider, Rock Band 4, Rainbow 6 Siege beta and more

In our weekly look at all things Xbox with Larry Hryb we learn about the much anticipated Star Wars beta, Rise of the Tomb Raider gets a new trailer, details on the Rainbow 6 Siege beta and much more. Read on for all the details.

Rock Band 4
Rock Band 4 is coming out the week of Oct. 6 and comes with more than 60 songs included. Any songs purchased form previous games will also be available in the latest edition. A legacy adapter that is also included with the physical game, will be needed to use legacy instruments for Rock Band 4. Should you buy the game digitally, the adaptor is available for purchase separately.
NBA 2K16
NBA 2K16 brings many improvements over previous games in the series. Of note, the new game has better realism and the ability to relocate your favorite NBA franchises to other cities. If you pre-order by Monday, you'll get the game next Friday, which is before its official released the following week.
Star Wars Beta
The Star Wars Beta is coming on Oct. 8 through to Oct. 10. It will feature the Walker assault on Hoth and the new drop zone mode on Sollust both of which are multiplayer modes. Time to hone your Jedi or Sith skills depending on what side you choose to play on.
Rise of the Tomb Raider - Descend into Legend Trailer

This week we got another gorgeous trailer for the next Tomb Raider game. The new trailer shows us some beautiful environments that will be explored throughout the game. Rise of the Tomb Raider is shaping up to be an excellent addition to the franchise.
Rainbow 6 Siege beta
Rainbow 6 Siege is available for pre-order right now and if you get it, you'll be able to access a closed beta. The game isn't out till December so this is a great chance to get an early look at the game.
Finally, there are some discounts on great games with this week's Deals with Gold. Discounted games include Devil May Cry 4, Batman: Arkham Knight, Alien Isolation and several more. All in all, this is another entertaining week in the world of Xbox.
