This Week on Xbox, Episode Two looks at upcoming Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Destiny, and much more

The second episode of This Week on Xbox (TWOX), announces the upcoming installment to the Assassin’s Creed franchise; Assassin’s Creed Syndicate as well as number of other Xbox news. Judging by the trailer (below), it looks like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be the most ambitious Assassin’s Creed installment. Set in London, England during the Industrial Revolution, you can stalk and eliminate your enemies with newer technology and weapons and explore the largest open-world Assassin’s Creed experience yet. 

Destiny released a new trailer for their House of Wolves expansion pack. Set to be released May 19th, House of Wolves offers three new maps, plus a new multiplayer co-op experience called Prison of Elders, and Elimination, plus new story missions and much more. Smite also got an Xbox One update this week, bringing the Founder’s pack to gamers that took part in the closed beta. If you are interested in taking part in Smite’s closed beta, you can do so, here. Smite should be available as an open beta in late June.

A new survival game, Ark Survival Evolved, was announced on Xbox One. Ark Survival Evolved is a new game that combines my two favorite things; survival and dinosaurs. Ark Survival Evolved is an open-world multiplayer game that features 60 dinosaurs in your quest for survival and dinosaur battles where you get to ride, hunt, or kill your favorite dinosaur. Use a pterodactyl to fly around or ride a stegosaurus through the open terrain.

Other interesting news on Xbox One include: Payday 2 Crimewave Edition is available now for preorder for $59.99 (special discount for Xbox Live Gold members), you can now send and receive Xbox One voice messages and you can even turn on and off your Xbox One from within the Xbox One Smartglass app. Project Cars is also available on Xbox One for $59.99. 

FIFA 2015 is now available for EA Access members, letting them play yet another EA game in the vault for free. EA Access costs just $4.99 a month, allowing you to get special discounts on EA games, free access to EA titles in the vault; like Battlefield 4, Madden 2015, and NHL 2015. You can also get exclusive early game access to the newest EA titles weeks before the game is released. 

Schrodinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark iis the latest game to hit the Xbox One at $9.99, offering you a wacky and colorful platform game, Lifeless Planet ($19.99) is another fun adventure game set on sci-fi films from the 50’s and 60’s where you wander around in a spacesuit searching for anyone alive.
