WaterField Designs unveils custom-fit sleeves for the new Surface lineup

San Francisco-based WaterField Designs has quite a loyal following for their stylish, hand-crafted bags and sleeves, made especially for the tech-savvy crowd.

The studio has announced new custom-fitted sleeves for the Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7, and Surface Laptop 3 – SleeveCase, Dash Sleeve, Vero Leather Laptop Sleeve, and Outback Solo. Each case is handcrafted and is available in a variety of styles and colors.

SleeveCase features a water-resistant, black ballistic nylon or tan waxed canvas shell that envelops shock-absorbing neoprene for ultimate device protection. The SleeveCase is available in both horizontal and vertical orientation and is priced starting at $69.

Dash Sleeve sports a plush lining and impact-resistant compression foam inside ballistic nylon, waxed canvas, or Luna woven textile exterior that protects your Surface from dings and scratches. Priced at $89, the Dash Sleeve packs in an open-top that allows access to ports for recharging, a rear mesh pocket to hold a few accessories or papers, and a snug fit and an elastic band that keeps the laptop securely in place.

Vero Leather Sleeve is a handcrafted leather laptop sleeve that is built to last and sports an ultra-plush liner that cushions the Surface and an extra leather strip along the base that acts as both reinforcement and as a grip to ease removal of the device. Priced at $119, the Vero sleeve also includes a dedicated leather slot to safely stow the Surface Pen for quick access.

Outback Solo offers two layers of protection – high-grade neoprene enveloped in highly water-resistant, tan-waxed canvas that delivers rugged protection – and is available for $159. The hybrid sleeve-cum-bag has a vintage look and sports a pleated front pocket that holds chargers, wallet, and keys plus a smartphone and a stylus or pen in designated pockets.

While the Surface Pro 7 cases are shipping now, the Surface Laptop 3 cases and Surface Pro X cases will ship in November although you can pre-order them right now. You can check out the details here.
