Microsoft kicked off Build 2013 with a bang today, revealing Windows 8.1 Preview to the public and offering it to the masses for download. If you missed the entire Day 1 keynote from Microsoft, you are in luck. We have uploaded it and embedded it below for your viewing pleasure.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer kicked off the event by announcing the availability of Windows 8.1 Preview and even stated during his keynote that Windows 8.1 is a “refined blend” of the desktop experience and modern experience via the Start Screen. Ballmer even stated how Bing was powering the Windows experience as well.

Microsoft’s Julie Larson-Green also took the stage and touted Windows 8.1 as the company’s “commitment to continuous innovation and improvement to the product.” Microsoft’s Antoine Leblond took the stage as well showcasing how developers can benefit from Windows 8.1

The Windows 8.1 Preview features many new additions to the Start Screen and desktop, including more tile sizes, boot-to-desktop and more tweaks and perks. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and hit play. The entire Day 1 keynote is a little over 1 hour and 45 minutes long.
