VLC beta for Windows Phone receives new update, fixes user interface bugs and more
The long battle to bring VLC to Windows Phone finally reached a new milestone on December 4th, when VideoLAN released a private beta of VLC for Windows Phone. Now, the app has received an update, addressing issues that were reported by beta testers. The update addresses various performance issues, as well as fixes a few user interface bugs.
There are still quite a few bugs that are plaguing the app, and VideoLAN plans to release updates to address them throughout the beta program. For now, in order to download this app, you must be enrolled in the beta program (registration was open in late November). We’ll let you know when the app is available publicly for testing.Microsoft, VLC, Windows Phone
