Right at the heels of Windows 8’s release to MSDN and TechNet subscribers, Microsoft has made available several flavors of Visual Studio 2012 and .Net 4.5 to subscribers as well. A recent report had suggested that Visual Studio 2012 would hit RTM in August.
Visual Studio 2012 leaked onto the web on the 6th of August and now TechNet and MSDN subscribers can have official access to these two much anticipated developer tools. “The opportunity for a developer – whether you’re building a Windows 8 app, a Windows Phone app or a Windows Azure app – is huge. You have a whole new set of capabilities in the platform, and a great set of tools that go hand-in-hand, all coming out now,” Microsoft’s S. Somasegar stated, corporate vice president of the Developer Division. Microsoft plans on officially launching Visual Studio 2012 on the 12th of September, via a virtual event.Microsoft, Visual Studio
