Microsoft has announced that Visio, the Office app for diagrams, will be coming to iOS and the web. The availability will enable users to share or access diagrams from anywhere, and allow them to gain insights and explore real world diagrams more easily.

According to Microsoft, with the Visio Online Preview and Visio Viewer for iPad, you can securely store your diagrams in OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online, and you can also share them with anyone as a link. Visio Online Preview, meanwhile, will increase the power of visual communication within an organization and allow employees to see information from diagrams with just a web browser, without any downloads.

At the same time, Visio Viewer for iPad will offer up details that customers could miss on smaller screens. The app is built specially for iPad with retina display and brings high-fidelity viewing of real-world processes and plans on the go. Additionally, thanks to the Find pane in the app, you can pinpoint all occurrences of a shape name, text or data. With the iPad app you can even reveal different visualizations of the same diagram by adjusting the visibility of certain layers.
