Video: Windows 10 RTM candidate build 10176 showcasing new changes

Earlier today, an RTM candidate of Microsoft’s upcoming operating system leaked onto the internet. Windows 10 build 10176 leaked in Chinese and is nearly identical to the official build available to Windows Insiders (build 10166). So what’s the primary difference between the two builds? Build 10176 is being treated like the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) build, as it was compiled as a candidate.

This is simply one of the builds Microsoft is compiling as a candidate for RTM. From what we’ve learned, this build did not pass testing as Microsoft has already complied newer builds. With that being said, build 10176 features code that is practically complete, except for a few bugs here and there.

There are no new features in this build, but you will notice that there is no watermark (this is because the RTM will not have a watermark). Microsoft has also added the Windows 10 branding to the About Windows dialog. You can check out our hands-on demo of the build below. Enjoy! As a reminder, Windows 10 is set to be released on July 29th.
