Video-On-Demand service HBO Go now available for Xbox One

HBO, the makers of hit shows such as ‘Game of Thrones’, have brought their instant video service, HBO Go, to Xbox One. Users can now catch up with their favourite HBO shows, which include ‘Entourage’, ‘Girls’ and ‘The Sopranos’. Noted for their plot-heavy, dark and suspenseful TV dramas, HBO have forged a new kind of television over the last decade, taking old formulas and updating them for a modern audience.

With the next season of Game of Thrones within sight, fans will no doubt be thrilled that they can watch from the comfort of their sofa with just an internet-connected Xbox One and a TV. According to HBO, the following cable providers will authenticate the service:

AT&T, Bend Broadband, Blue Ridge Communications, Cablevision, Charter, Comcast’s Xfinity, Cox, DIRECTV, Dish, Grande Communications, HTC Digital Cable, Massillon Cable/Clear Picture, Mediacom, Midcontinent Communications, RCN, Suddenlink, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, and Wow!
