Verizon Lumia 735 gets firmware update, on-device Advanced Calling enabled

Microsoft might be creating its own methods for updating the firmware on Lumia devices once Windows 10 Mobile rolls out, but for now, carrier updates remain the norm. They’re few and far between, however, and so we’re always interested to see the random update pop up. Today, we have the Verizon version of the Lumia 735 receiving some new bits.

There’s not much to the update, however. From Verizon’s changelog:

Activate Advanced Calling directly on the device.

That’s all, folks. Make sure you’re on a Wifi connection or a very good Verizon LTE connection (which is what they’re known for, right?) and hit the update button. Let us know if you come across anything else that’s new in today’s Lumia 735 update.
