Fans of shooting games, Velocity 2X for Xbox One is now available for digital pre-orders for $19.99. The game is set to launch on August 19th, but customers who pre-order the game will be able to download it ahead of its launch, and play it as soon as its officially available.
As a player, your task is to control Lt. Kai Tana, embark on a mission to set her fellow prisoners free and find a way back home. You must pilot the Quarp Jet, and try to locate the prisoners as well as fight evil aliens. There are over 50 challenging levels which gets more difficult as you play on. You can even compete against your friends across the globe and see who rises to the top in the leaderboards.
The game description reads,
Become a certified badass. Abducted by a race of hostile aliens, Lt. Kai Tana must use her quick reflexes and the teleporting power of the Quarp Jet to free her fellow prisoners and find a way home. Swapping back and forth between top-down vertical shoot ‘em up and side-scrolling action platformer, Velocity 2X blends two unique styles of fast-paced, frenetic gameplay into one incredible experience.
