Vaio Phone Biz

VAIO, a Japanese manufacturer, launched its Phone Biz less than a year ago. It was set out to be a device built for business, whilst still providing premium aesthetics with its aluminium body. It came with some respectable specifications:

  • 5.5-inch, 1920 x 1080 display
  • 3GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera
  • 2,800 mAh battery

Since the release of the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile, the VAIO Phone Biz, along with the HP Elite x3, have not received the update. VAIO has now posted a statement on its support page for the device, stating that the update is not available due to ongoing issues with Continuum not working at specific display resolutions, saying that this is a major feature of the device and prevents the update being released, and as such, has postponed the update until a fix is ready.

The company says that it is working with Microsoft to fix the issue and will release the update when it’s ready.
