Edge extensions remain one of the most-requested features in Windows 10, at least as far as Microsoft’s newest browser is concerned. Windows 10 Insider Preview build 14291 introduced extensions for the first time, with three featured extensions ready to go for Windows Insiders.

One of the extensions that many people are looking forward to is by Adblock, and Microsoft indicated that this and other extensions are definitely on the way. Today at Build 2016, Microsoft confirmed these extensions:

New Microsoft Edge extensions partners were announced, including Pinterest, Reddit Enhancement Suite, Adblock, Adblock Plus, LastPass, Amazon Assistant, Evernote Corp., and Page Analyzer, powered by Vorlon.js.

Edge extensions appear to be fairly easy to port over from Google’s popular Chrome browser, and so we’re sure it will only be a matter of time before the Windows Store is stocked up. In the meantime, it’s good to see Microsoft Edge extension partners putting themselves on the hook.
