Uber Outlook interface

During the Build Developer Conference, we gained greater insight as to how different Microsoft products can work with each other and other companies products. One such example is the new Uber ride reminder add-in within Office Outlook. What it allows you to do is schedule a lift from your calendar appointments in Outlook. This is all part of Microsoft’s new Office add-in platform.

Build is a major developers conference and many things shown and discussed are rather technical but the end result for users is more ways to integrate technology into their lives. The Uber-Outlook integration is a great example of Microsoft allowing other companies to work directly with their platform.

There will be more details as this story develops so stay tuned and check back for updates on all of our Build articles.
