Ubisoft announced some exciting news for Xbox One fans. Those who ordered The Division on Xbox One will get exclusive access to The Division alpha December 9-12 (in addition to The Division closed beta). Tom Clancy’s The Division Beta that was originally planned for December 2015, is now being pushed to sometime in early 2016. Ubisoft wants to provide the most thrilling experience possible with The Division coming to Xbox One, PC and other platforms on March 8, 2016.
Here is a quick look at a recent Q&A from the developers of The Division, as well as information on character skills, talents, and gun customization.

Ubisoft explained The Division’s closed beta delay on their blog and some hints about what will be available in The Division’s alpha testing phase on Xbox One:

“This exclusive Xbox One alpha testing phase in December will be the first time the public gets to play a version of The Division that includes more than the Dark Zone PvP enabled areas. This means the moment you and other players sign into the game, you’ll be giving us valuable insight into how our infrastructure performs under pressure that we can’t replicate internally or at a tradeshow. This process allows us to monitor and gather additional feedback on other aspects of The Division, as well. However, due to the early stage of this alpha, we ask that all participants do not share images, video, or descriptions of the game’s content outside of the official Division alpha forum. Players will be prompted to accept a non-disclosure agreement before playing the alpha.”

There is no digital edition available through Xbox.com yet, but you can pre-order The Division through the Microsoft Store. As an added bonus, if you do, you will also receive a $10 Xbox gift card download code. The Division alpha will be available starting December 9th.
