TMobile sets a launch date for the Alcatel Idol 4S Windows 10 Mobile phone

Over the last few months, we have been closely covering the Alcatel Idol 4S Windows 10 Mobile phone. While the specifications and the packaging for the device have already been leaked we have learned (via Windows Central) that the device is finally set to go on Sale on November 10th for the price of $469 unlocked.

According to Windows Central, T-Mobile is selling (and lists) the phone as a Windows 10 device, and not Windows 10 Mobile. Additionally, there is also confirmation that the device has a dedicated camera button, and will considerably cheaper than the HP Elite x3 for $469 once it launches on November 10th. As we have previously covered, other notable information in regards to the device includes the following:

  • Snapdragon 820 Processor
  • Quad Core CPU @2.15 GHz
  • 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED Display with 180-degree angle viewing
  • 64GB ROM and 4GB of RAM with support for Micro SD Expansion
  • 21 MP Rear facing camera
  • 8 MP front facing camera
  • Dedicated camera button
  • 3,000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 2.0
  • Support for Contiiuum
  • Support for VR
  • Support for Windows Hello via Fingerpint sensor
  • Dual Speakers with Hi-fi surround sound.
