Titanfall 2 to begin multiplayer tests on Xbox One this weekend

Game developers, Respawn Entertainment, will be holding two technical tests for their upcoming video game, Titanfall 2, to test the servers that they’ll be using for online multiplayer. The first test will be on the weekend of August the 19th through 21st and the second will be on the following weekend on August 26th through 28th.

Starting on August 19th, All Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download the game for free and play it during the previously mentioned test days. Outside of the set days, access to the game will be restricted.

During the first technical test weekend, players will be given the following in-game;

  • Player Abilities: Pulse Blade, Grapple, Holo Pilot, and Stim.
  • Titans: Ion and Scorch.
  • Modes: Pilots vs. Pilots and Bounty Hunt.
  • Maps: Boomtown, Homestead, and Training.
  • Primary Weapons: R-201, CAR, Spitfire, LSTAR, Kraber, and Double Take.

Titanfall 2 is set to launch on October 28th. The game can currently be pre-ordered in a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Pre-orders of the Standard Edition come with the full game and the Titanfall 2 Nitro Scorch Pack which adds a Warpaint customization for the Scorch Titan and a unique callsign. The Deluxe Edition comes with both the game and Nitro Scorch Pack as well as a variety of additional customization options for the player’s Titans. Are you going to buy Titanfall 2?
