Windows Phone has been somewhat quiet recently. The only major hardware announced in the last month being the Lumia 535, a region specific variant of the 530. This state of affairs can partly be attributed to the recent acquisition of Nokia’s Devices and Services division by Microsoft — typically there are growing pains when one firm absorbs so many new staff. This drought seems set to end soon however, if a recent tweet by AdDuplex is anything to go by:

Apparently, within the next few months, we will see a number of new phones from the new Microsoft Lumia line, ranging between 4 and 5.7 inches in size. It it likely that the smaller incarnations will be budget models, as this has traditionally been the case for the Lumia line over the last few years.
If this report is anything to go by, then it is clear that Microsoft wants to make the strongest possible start to 2015 for Windows Phone.Further reading: Microsoft, Windows Phone, Windows Phone 8.1
