Three new Microsoft Stores opened this week — celebrities join in on the fun
Microsoft Stores have over the years been on a rapid incline, expanding across the US like mad and offering the latest Microsoft software and hardware to customers who prefer to get a hand-on experience prior to their purchases.
Today marks the opening of two more Microsoft Stores, with one launching yesterday at the Destiny USA mall in Syracuse, New York. The store is offering the Toshiba Encore 8-inch and the Xbox 360 for a bargain $99 while supplies last, so if you’re in the area and interested, you might want to head down to see if any more units are available.
Another Microsoft Store has also opened at Lakeside Shopping Center in Louisiana where tickets to see Shaquille O’Neal who’ll make a special appearance tomorrow (November 15) were handed out to the first 200 people in line.
Yet another Store has also been opened at the Chandler Mall in Arizona and yet another celebrity guest appearance will be made. This time it’s to watch Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who will be performing at the store. Only the first 1,500 people in line at the grand opening have received tickets. This store is also offering a Toshiba tablet for $99 while supplies last, one per customer only.
Microsoft has over 100 retail store locations scattered around the United States which welcomes more than 400 million customers since the first Microsoft Store opened back in 2009. Microsoft’s presence in the retail space brings the company closer to its customers, which is certainly good for business.Further reading: Business, Microsoft, Microsoft Store, retail
