THQ announces new South Park video game – onmsft.com

During a recent online presentation, THQ Nordic officially announced that a new untitled South Park video game is in development.

No further details, such as potential release window, platforms, or even game genre, were provided. It’s possible that this title could be similar to the two South Park games, The Fractured But Whole and The Stick of Truth, though it could also be something completely random like a South Park fighter or dance sim. We’ll just have to wait and see.

South Park this year celebrated both its 25th anniversary and 25th season, making it one of the longest running and definitely one of the most consistent animated series in TV history. The cult hit, now mega-popular animated hit series, has produced at least one season of episodes, or a couple of specials, every year since its debut in 1997 and the series shows no sign of slowing down with the main series renewed through to Season 30 on Comedy Central and 10 more specials planned for Paramount+.
