T-Mobile pushes out Windows Phone 8.1 Cyan for Lumia 521

Nokia LumiaT-Mobile is the fastest growing network in the United States, and they are certainly trying to deliver the best customer experience they can. Today, the wireless giant released Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.1 update for the Lumia 521, along with the latest Cyan firmware.

The latest software update for Lumia 521 users brings the exciting new features and functionality of Windows 8.1 including voice assistant Corana, swipe keyboard support, the notification center, and other performance improvements.

Nokia’s Lumia 521 smartphone is a contract smartphone that can be currently found for as low as $49.99. The device features a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD recording, 4G capable network speeds, 8 GB of internal memory, a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, and a 4 inch super sensitive touch display. Users can take advantage of these features with a 1430 mAh battery that provides up to 45 hours of music playback.

To download Windows Phone 8.1 for your Lumia 521, head to settings on your device, then select ‘Phone Update’, and finally, ‘Check for updates’. WiFi is required to download the update.
