The Australian Microsoft Store is discounting a wide variety of Microsoft stock for a special March Madness sale campaign that’s running until April 6.
Among the discounted items is the Microsoft Band 2, which has been reduced by AU$50 to AU$329.99. The Microsoft Band 2 is the latest version of Microsoft’s fitness tracker and features a redesigned form and several new features such as UV monitoring that set it apart from its competitors. You can read our hands-on impressions with it here.
The two new Windows 10 Mobile flagship phones, the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, have also had their prices slashed and are now selling for AU$100 cheaper than their usual cost. In addition to the AU$100 savings, both models are unlocked and a purchase of either device will come with a free one year subscription to Office 365 Personal.
Also being discounted as part of the Microsoft Store March Madness sale is the Xbox One 1TB Racing Bundle which usually sells for AU$708.90 but is now going for AU$599.
The Xbox One 1TB Racing Bundle comes with an Xbox One console with one TB of memory, one Xbox One wireless controller, one Xbox One Special Edition Forza Motorsport 6 Wireless Controller, a physical disk copy of Forza Horizon 2 Ten Year Anniversary Edition, and digital versions of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay (itself featuring 30 games), and Ori and the Blind Forest. As an extra bonus, gamers who play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition online will also be given the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection to play on the console as well.
Probably the biggest discount in the sale is the Surface Pro 3 which has had its regular price reduced by over AU$400 and is also giving customers a free Surface Pro 3 Type Cover which usually sells for AU$199.95. Not bad value at all!
