Microsoft has quietly released new firmware and driver updates for its Surface Pro 4, which this time are mostly focused on the tablet’s cameras (via Windows Central). Microsoft has yet to provide a full changelog on the Surface Update History tracker, so we’ll once again have to wait a little bit to get more details about these updates. Anyway, here is what you should see in Windows Update if you check for updates today:
- Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft IR Camera Front
- Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Front
- Intel driver update for Intel(R) AVStream Camera 2500
- Intel driver update for Intel(R) Imaging Signal Processor 2500

- Surface – System 8/1/2017 12:00:00 AM – 1.0.85.1

We’ll update this post once Microsoft publishes full release notes for these updates. In the meantime, let us know in the comments if you notice any improvements after installing the new drivers.
