Surface line could get an updated Designer Mouse to go along with the Surface Keyboards

Following our previous report about Microsoft’s unreleased Surface keyboard, it now seems that a computer mouse could be the latest Surface-branded desktop accessory in the company’s pipeline. Windows Central discovered the new item on the FCC’s website today and it seems that this Surface mouse could be an iteration on the Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse design.

Just like the Surface Keyboard, the Surface Mouse will have a matching grey color and work with two AA batteries and Bluetooth LE technology which should provide up to 12 months of usage time. It’s not clear yet when these Surface-branded desktop accessories will be officially unveiled by Microsoft even though the company is expected to announce new hardware including a Surface all-in-one PC at an event in New York City later this month. Let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to see new Surface hardware being released during the fall.
