To be more specific, the Intel Core i5/4GB RAM/128GB SSD Surface Laptop is the one on sale at Amazon, so you’re getting some good bang for your buck. Priced at $699, this same sale model is $100 cheaper than the $799 base Surface Laptop model with the slower Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB of storage.
Though a different form factor, this variant of Surface Laptop is also is also cheaper, and offers more screen real estate than the $749 (when bundled with a keyboard and pen) top-model new Surface Go. You’ll be getting a better processor for the price with this deal at Amazon, which is always good if you’re looking to multi-task and switch out of the Microsoft Store only S-mode included with the device.
