Last month, we get news from an AdDuplex report that LG was making a comeback to Windows Phone, as a Verizon device was spotted on the ad hosting company’s network.
Now, courtesy of Neowin, we get a first look at that device. The LG and Verizon-branded smartphone doesn’t look like it’s anything special with its rather safe design and on-screen buttons, and no specs have been revealed this time around. The earlier AdDuplex report did shed some light on this though. The ‘LG LGVW820’ reportedly features a 4.7” display with a resolution of 480×854 and LTE. So it’s likely a budget phone as previously anticipated.
That’s all we know so far, so not much as you can see. And even though a supposed image has been leaked, we don’t know for sure whether the Windows Phone 8.1-powered device will even see the light of day, but it could also be an indication that a launch is imminent. We’ll know soon enough. Stay tuned to WinBeta for more info as we get it.Further reading: LG, Microsoft, Windows Phone
