Steve Jobs, who passed away from an illness not too long ago, had some strong feelings about his rival and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in his newly released biography, which made it a hot buy. In fact, the biography has sold nearly 380,000 copies in just the first week of its release.
“Steve Jobs,” which is slated to be one of the most highly anticipated biographies of the year, author Walter Isaacson reveals that the Apple CEO had some harsh feelings about his longtime rival, Bill Gates. In the biography, Jobs stated that Gates “ripped off other people’s ideas.” On top of that, Jobs believed that Android was a “stolen product.”
A spokesperson for Amazon.com stated that after just one day, “Steve Jobs” was slated to outsell every other book sold by the company for the year.
On top of being a top seller in hardcover, the biography is also the number one title on the Kindle platform, and the Apple iBook platform.
