Several hours ago, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled the major restructuring for the software giant. Top company executives received new roles and Ballmer’s grand vision of transforming Microsoft into a “devices and services” began its full effect.
In a new short video published to Microsoft’s YouTube account, you can hear Ballmer talk about Microsoft’s new strategy during a company Town Hall meeting which took place yesterday. Microsoft’s new strategy is this: “Create a family of devices and services for individuals and businesses that empower people around the globe at home, at work and on the go, for the activities they value the most.”
