Stardock releases WindowBlinds 11 – onmsft.com

After an announcement and public beta in September WindowBlinds 11 has now been publicly released.  WindowBlinds 11 is an app that allows you to customize the look and feel of your Windows 10 and Windows 11 interfaces.  You can customize window frames, task bars, start menu, and more.

These customizations are made through skins. Window Blinds 11 ships with dozens included, and thousands more are available at wincustomize.com.

“This app is a cornerstone in our suite of desktop enhancements,” said Brad Sams, Vice
President of Stardock Software. “Windows 11 introduced a new design language for the OS, but
we know it’s not for everyone. With WindowBlinds 11, you can enjoy the benefits of a modern
OS, but also the flexibility to customize the interface to fit your own personal theme.”

Several skins have been updated for the release, and a new theme called Luna is available that will make your Windows 11 interface look like Windows XP.  You can make your skins unique by customizing colors, fonts, and transparency.  WindowBlinds 11 ships with two highly requested updates, an automatic dark mode, and a higher DPI for some skins.  The in-app browser has been refreshed as well making it easier to find and customize new skins.

This version of WindowBlinds 11 is designed to work with all announced versions of Windows 11 including support for widgets on the taskbar and tabs in File Explorer.  WindowBlinds 11 is now available for Windows 10 and Windows 11 users as part of Stardock’s Object Desktop Suite or individually for $19.99.  An upgrade option is available for WindowBlinds 10 owners for $9.99.  You can learn more about WindowBlinds 11 and purchase your copy from the Stardock website.
