Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition

Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition has finally launched on Xbox One and Xbox 360. This long-anticipated update to the popular toys-to-life video game introduces the Star Wars characters and worlds to the game, thanks to Disney’s recent acquisition of the franchise, as well as adds several more Disney, Pixar, and Marvel Comics characters such as Ultron from the recent Avengers sequel.
Owners of Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition will be able to use all of the digital and physical content released for previous versions of the game however 3.0 branded toys and play sets will not be backwards compatible. In short, if you want to use your new Luke Skywalker or Darth Maul figures in-game, you’ll need to update to 3.0.
The digital versions of Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition are now available on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 however a physical Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack will be needed to be bought to use the special Disney Infinity figures.
Recently, some Disney Infinity execs discussed the possibility of incorporating Microsoft’s HoloLens in a future iteration of the game.
Which character you most excited to play with in Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition? Personally I’m hyped to play Ahsoka from Clone Wars.
