Star Wars Battlefront II Xbox One multiplayer beta coming in October
It’s now been a month since EA revealed the first official gameplay trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2, and many fans of the franchise can’t wait to play the sequel to the 2015 reboot of the series. Well, the publisher finally shared some details about the upcoming multiplayer beta yesterday, and you should make sure to free your calendar in the first week of October.
Starting October 4, all fans who pre-ordered the game on Xbox One, Playstation 4 or Windows will get early access to the multiplayer beta. All players will get access to it two days later on October 6, and EA promises that there will be “a lot to explore.” The publisher shared the following details in the blog post announcing the news:
You’ll be able to experience some of the best of Star Wars Battlefront II across iconic planets and into the far reaches of space. Get set to dive into Naboo: Theed in Galactic Assault. Join Republic clone troopers and Separatist battle droids in a wild melee on the streets surrounding the royal palace, where you’ll take control of some of your favorite heroes.
But that’s only part of the story. Also included is a multiplayer Starfighter Assault battle (with more details to be revealed at Gamescom), giving you the ability to pilot a variety of the most memorable starfighters from Star Wars.
The multiplayer beta will be available through October 9, and you can still pre-order the game if you want to get early access. By doing so, you’ll also get bonus content including Yoda’s Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card, Exclusive Star Wars : The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey and more. “Keep your eyes open for even more surprises as the beta approaches,” added EA.Further reading: EA, EA DICE, Star Wars Battlefront II, Video Games, Xbox One
