Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have just released a six-minutes trailer for upcoming action role-playing title Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that will give fans of the cyberpunk game franchise an overview of what they can expect for the next installment in the series. This new opus is set in the year 2029, just two years after the events of the previous episode Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which Square Enix released in 2011 on PC and Xbox 360. Please find the full trailer below along with the official description:

In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you become Adam Jensen, a counterterrorism agent working for an Interpol unit known as Task Force 29. On the surface, Jensen’s goal is to hunt down terrorists in a world that’s spinning out of control, where mechanically augmented humans live a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society. But what he’s really after are the Illuminati: the men and women who are always pulling the strings.

His investigation will take you around the world, with the decisions you make and the actions you take playing a crucial role in determining the game’s outcome. Choose between combat, stealth, social, and hacking approaches to achieve your objectives. Be mindful though, as there will be a meaningful consequence to every action and choice you make.

While the game was initially scheduled for released on February 23, 2016 developer Eidos Montreal shared last November that it had to delay the game’s release to August 23, 2016 to meet the high expectations of the fans. However, PC gamers can already pre-order a “Day One” Edition of the game that includes an extra in-game mission, a three weapon/item pack, a digital OST sampler, a digital comic book, a digital Novella and a digital artbook.
