If you’re able to use Facebook without issues on your Windows Phone at the moment, you’re one of the lucky ones. A lot of people are reporting the appearance of error message 83CF1104 when trying to sync with their account.
Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore confirmed the issue in a tweet, explaining that the Facebook team were working on a solution:
“FYI – some folks have experienced problems with Facebook feeds in WP8… the FB team is working on a fix as we speak.”
Facebook is quite tightly tied into Windows Phone, and contacts are pulled into create a unified address book, so it is potentially a far reaching problem. The issue does not seem to be limited to particular counties. Have you been affected?
