There’s a couple inexpensive simple games out on the Xbox One, ‘Slice Zombies’ and ‘Ultratron’ as pointed out by Xbox’s Major Nelson.
Preparing for the zombie apocalypse that will never happen can be quite fun. When you’re tired of collecting barrels of water and anti-radiation pills, you can relax by chopping zombies in half on your Xbox One with the Kinect thanks to ‘Slice Zombies’ which is now available.
Major Nelson put up a short post announcing the game’s availability on the Xbox One. The normal price is $9.99 but he points out that “Xbox Live Gold members get a 20% discount – offer valid until 22 May.”
The game description describes the gameplay. “It’s easy! Step in front of your Kinect and use your hands to cut, grab and shoot zombies into little pieces.”
The game play photos make it look it look similar to ‘Fruit Ninja’ which is a good thing. The Kinect is great for games like this and ‘Slice Zombies’ seems like another fun addition the Xbox One library.
Another easy time filling game is Ultratron. It’s a classic arcade style rotation shooter that also has a two player mode. They summarize it well in the app description, “An arcade game on steroids, Ultratron combines risk-reward arena gameplay with an upgrade system, responsive difficulty, pet drones, special weapon abilities, online leaderboards and a two player drop-in co-op mode.”
Ultratron is also $9.99 and has a discount of 15% for Xbox Live Gold members until the 22nd of May.Kinect, Microsoft, Xbox One
