Microsoft has released today a new update to its Skype apps for iOS devices, and owners of iPhones and iPads can now more easily manage their Skype credit. The apps now let you purchase Skype Credit through in-app purchases in more currencies, and the Skype team has also brought other improvements to notifications (including Skype Credit balance notifications) and user experience. You can find the detailed changelog of Skype for iOS version 6.22 below:
- We’ve made Skype Credit balance notifications faster and more reliable.
- You are now able to purchase Skype Credit in more currencies.
- New connectivity status bar shows when Skype is updating your conversations or when you’re having network problems.
- Notifications include much more content now.
To purchase Skype credit from the apps, just go into “My Info”, then select “Skype Credit”. The app will then ask you to confirm the purchase through your Apple ID password or Touch ID if you have set it up on your iOS device. Once you’re done, you can use your Skype credit to call mobiles and landlines across the world, send text messages, forward calls or connect to Skype Wifi hotposts through the Skype Wifi app. You can download the latest Skype app on your iOS from the download links below.App update, iOS, Skype
