Microsoft has finally made available the SkyDrive app for Windows Phone 8. For some reason, the SkyDrive app was not available for Windows Phone 8, but not now it has been released with a new version packed with some neat new features.
So what’s new in version 3.0? SkyDrive 3.0 for Windows Phone 8 comes with the ability to search your SkyDrive files and folders, new settings for photo uploads and download sizes, support for Windows Phone 8 (obviously), and an updated app icon and new visuals. The app also feature enhanced performance. At the time of this post, there is no update available for Windows Phone 7 users so it seems that 3.0 is for Windows Phone 8 at the moment.
