If you were one of the lucky few who managed to get in an early pre-order the HP Elite x3 at the Microsoft Store in the US, then we have got good news for you. Shipments for the Windows 10 Mobile super phone have begun, and you soon might have the handset to enjoy for yourself (via Neowin.)

The shipments come after Microsoft recently announced that pre-orders for the device would not begin shipping until September 26th. Some of those who already pre-ordered, nonetheless, should expect to see the device ship out soon, with a potential delivery by just the end of this week. According to a listing on the Microsoft Store, however, newer pre-orders are still subject to the waiting period, and will not be released or delivered until on or after September 26th.

In case you did not already know, HP's Elite x3 Windows 10 Mobile Handset is $799 at the Microsoft Store. For the price, the handset comes bundled with a Desk Dock, which allows you to unlock the PC like potential of the phone and use Continuum with a mouse or keyboard.
