The wait for Windows 10 has been a long one, especially for owners of Windows Phones.
First revealed last year, the news slate has since been dominated by Windows 10 in its desktop, with relatively little happening with its mobile incarnation. A new leak from French telecommunications company SFR suggests that this wait might continue for a while yet.
The document shows the dates that the company aims to have various updates for different platforms available to its users, including an “October or November” timeframe for updates to a range of Lumia devices. This fits in well with earlier reports that Windows 10 Mobile would be ready sometime in late September.
There’s no word yet on the veracity of this document, but for the moment it seems to be legitimate, as the timescale proposed fits right in with ‘Microsoft Time’.
