Sea of Thieves to make its debut on Steam on June 3, 2020. As noted in a post on Xbox Wire, Sea of Thieves is growing in popularity since its release in March 2018 on Xbox One and Windows 10. Check out the new trailer that was released In celebration of the launch of Sea of Thieves on Steam below.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can already play Sea of Thieves for free on Xbox One and Windows 10 as part of their subscription, but now Microsoft is releasing the game on Steam to allow even more players to join in on the adventure. On Steam, Sea of Thieves will cost $39.99 and will feature all of the game content available on the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions, including the recent Ships of Fortune update. Another great thing about Sea of Thieves is its cross-play support between Windows 10, Xbox One, and now, Steam.

If you have an Xbox Live subscription and are interested in playing the game for free, consider upgrading to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for just $1. As an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you will be able to play Sea of Thieves for free, along with hundreds of other Xbox games on Xbox One and Windows 10.
