So what’s included in Sea of Thieves season 8, you may be asking? To begin with: 100 levels of rewards for players to unlock by increasing their Renown, including cosmetics, gold and Ancient Coins. Players can also buy the newest Plunder Pass to get access to premium items.

Season 8 also brings on-demand player versus player ship combat.

Choose your faction

Will you follow the Pirate Lord and his Guardians of Fortune, or go with the Servants of the Flame and Captain Flameheart? Pirates looking to join in this epic Sea of Thieves conflict can vote for a side for their crew to side with. By partaking in this fight, players will earn Allegiance and Faction rewards. Sinking enemy faction ships will earn you the title of Faction Champion.
