This week’s Patch 1.0.7 for Sea of Thieves is apparently causing some issues with the game, which forced Rare to announce the removal of some new features this morning. Open and Closed Crews, a much requested feature allowing players to either assemble their crew manually or get matched with three random players had to be deactivated following the latest emergency maintenance.

According to the updated patch notes, a new feature that allowed pirates to hand bananas, wooden planks and cannon balls to other players has also been temporarily removed due to bugs. Rare is still working hard to fix all the issues currently affecting the game, and we invite you to follow the Sea of Thieves Twitter account to get the latest updates.
