It's time for one of Steam's two largest events of the year. The Steam Winter sale is here, rivaling the Steam Summer Sale as one of the most wallet-destroying periods of time that gamers encounter over the course of a year. This go around, Steam is offering extraordinarily slashed prices on games like Call of Duty: World War II, Assassin's Creed: Origins, and more.

If you're not interested in getting any new games, you're not off the hook yet. Steam is also offering some hardware for up to 90% off, offering the "Steam Link" - which usually goes for $50 - for $5. You can also get the bundle with the Steam Controller for just under $35. It's an incredibly huge discount for Steam's hardware, and you're probably never going to find a deal that's any better - so if you have even a cursory interest, now is probably the time to buy in.
