For those looking to dip their toes into the Surface goodness, now may be a good time to do so, as Microsoft just introduced a great bundle for the Surface Pro 4 on their US Microsoft Store.
Specifically, the bundle includes a Surface Pro 4, a Type Cover of your choice (including the Fingerprint ID version), a Surface sleeve, 2-year warranty, and 1 year of Office 365, that will see you saving up to $129 compare to a separate purchase. Seeing how that’s almost equal to a Type Cover while you’re getting some essential things most would purchase with their machines anyhow, the bundle provides some nice incentive for people considering the Surface Pro 4, but crying about the Microsoft’s policy of not including the keyboard with their Surface (sans the Book).
Not all Surface models are available to choose as part of the bundle, unfortunately. At the time of writing, only the m3 version, 128GB and 512GB core i5 options are selectable; the 256GB core i5 version is out of stock, presumably due to more nimble folks snatching up all the deals. Interestingly, there appears to be 2 versions of the 256GB core i5 models appearing on the Store $200 apart, as well as a similarly more expensive 512GB version out of stock; there are, however, no discernable differences. No core i7 models appear as options also, unfortunately.
