CEO Satya Nadella will be in Washington DC to present the keynote address, streamed live (and now on demand), at the Microsoft Government Cloud Forum, beginning at 8:15 am on Tuesday November 17th. Nadella is expected to discuss Microsoft’s new approach to security, showcase how Microsoft technologies along with partner solutions work together to secure today’s enterprise, and announce some new cross company investments to help to better protect customers.
Microsoft has been working to promote its cloud offerings as some of the most secure in the industry, and has been active in the area, with plans to open data centers in the UK, India, and Germany; making investments in cloud security companies like Cloudflare and acquiring others including Adallom; and partnering with companies like TASER to bring secure cloud solutions to law enforcement.
We’ll have more on Nadella’s announcements as they become public.
